If you take a look at the average PC gamer who uses Steam, Origin and Uplay to purchase their games, then the answer surely is NO. PC gamers dont trade games, and they seem to be fine. Even before the likes of Steam, you werent able to trade your games due to the serial keys you would have to input. These limited game installs, preventing games from being installed on more than 1 PC. so surely Xbox was just trying to catch up to the modern era of gaming?
