How do you spell that? purchase calan Yet for all its faults and lack of ambition, Ryse is vacantly enjoyable throughout. The combat is simple and reasonably satisfying; terrific, detailed animation and audio delivers enough heft and force to leave an impression. The Roman Empire setting is interesting and sparse enough in video games to give extra mileage. And my word, it is beautiful. Marius’ burnished steel armour rattles and sways as he trots along stunning environments, from busy action-packed beach landings to more picturesque vistas to a castle holdout where a never-ending army of Britons stretches far into the horizon, war machines trundling up the causeway. No doubt this section was designed to recall the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Ryse’s visual splendour manages just that.
