Welcome to MGT 780/MGT 795

This is the website for MGT 780: Social Network Analysis, a Ph.D. level course taught each Spring by Steve Borgatti under the auspices of the University of Kentucky LINKS Center. Please note that the UK course catalog lists the course as MGT 795. Hopefully this will be fixed next year.

The objective of the course is to learn how to analyze social network data. As such, the focus is on the theoretical concepts and methodology of social network analysis.

This semester (Spring, 2010), the class meets Fridays from 2 to 5 pm in B&E 215. Check the schedule to see what's being discussed when and in which room. Drop-ins welcome -- no need to ask me ahead of time, just show up. The class also includes some optional labs offered by Ginny Kidwell and Travis Grosser.

Please check the site often, as it is frequently updated.
